Male FaceLift

The most visible part of your body is your face. It is also the first and most visible part of the body that shows the signs of aging. If you wish to look as good as you feel, a facelift may be the answer for you. A facelift smoothes the loose skin on your face and neck tightens underlying tissues and removes excess fat. The end result is a smoother, firmer and fresher look.

You may be a candidate for a facelift if you have the following conditions:
  • Wrinkles, excess fatty tissues or loose skin in the neck
  • A deep line runs between the corners of your nose and mouth
  • Loss of well defined jaw line
  • Wrinkles in the cheeks and sagging skin near the cheekbones

Male Breast Reduction

Male breast enlargement (gynecomastia) is treated by the removal of excess breast fat, glandular tissue, and skin, if necessary, to achieve a proportioned breast size for your body. Gynecomastia, a condition of over-developed or enlarged breasts in men, can occur in men of any age, but is most common in teenagers and men over 50. Excessive male breast tissue may be present unilaterally (one breast) or bilaterally (both breasts). Large breast in men can be the result of hormonal changes, heredity conditions, disease or the use of certain drugs. Gynecomastia can cause emotional discomfort and impair your self confidence. Some men may even avoid certain physical activities and intimacy simply to hide their condition.

Male breast reduction is a good option if:
  • You are physically healthy and of relatively normal weight
  • You have realistic expectations
  • Your breast development has stabilized
  • You are bothered by the feeling that your breasts are too large

Male Liposuction

One of the top 5 male cosmetic surgical procedures is liposuction, also known as lipoplasty. Liposuction is especially good for men who are of normal weight but have isolated pockets of fat that cause certain areas of their body to look disproportionate with the rest of their body. The most common areas are the chest, love handles, and abdomen. These fat deposits are sometimes the result of heredity and usually do not respond to diet and exercise. Liposuction may be performed at any age but the best results are obtained when skin has enough elasticity to achieve a smooth contour following fat removal. Liposuction should not be used to treat obesity or as a substitute for poor diet and exercise. It is also not an effective treatment for cellulite or loose saggy skin. According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), 12 percent of the liposuction procedures performed in the United States in 2005 were performed on male patients.

Areas that respond well to liposuction include:
  • Thighs
  • Hips and buttocks
  • Abdomen and waist
  • Upper arms
  • Back
  • Inner knee
  • Chest area
  • Cheeks, chin and neck
  • Calves and ankles

Male Abdominoplasty

Male abdominoplasty, also called "male tummy tuck," is a common procedure that can reduce the size of a protruding belly by removing excess skin and tightening the muscles in the midsection. Tummy tuck surgery, for many men, can deliver a flatter, tighter, more aesthetically appealing abdominal contour. For the best results, male abdominoplasty should be teamed with a balanced diet and regular exercise.

The most common reasons for tummy tucks are:
  • Extra (redundant) skin after weight loss
  • Stretch Marks
  • Fat collections that do not respond to dieting
  • Weak bulging abdominal wall

Male Arm Lift

Male brachioplasty (or arm lift surgery) is almost exclusively performed following massive weight loss. This cosmetic surgery procedure for men is used to reshape and remove loose, sagging skin from a person's arm. While exercise may strengthen and improve muscle tone, it cannot address excess skin that is no longer elastic following massive weight loss.

An arm lift can address these problems:
  • Reduce excess sagging skin that droops down
  • Tighten and smooth underlying tissue that defines shape
  • Reduce localized fat pockets in upper arm

Male Lower Body Lift

Body lift surgery is an extremely effective procedure for patients with excess skin resulting from significant weight loss. Patients with large amounts of excess skin through the midsection and lower body are good candidates for a lower body lift. A lower body lift can improve the shape and tone of the fat and skin. Excess sagging fat and skin are removed and dimpled, uneven skin can be improved.

Body lifts are not intended strictly for the removal of excess fat. Liposuction can achieve fat removal where skin has good elasticity. In some cases liposuction is used in conjunction with a body lift to obtain your desired outcome.

Areas that respond well to body lifts include:
  • Abdominal area, locally or extending around the sides and into the lower back area
  • Buttocks, that may be low, flat or shaped unevenly
  • Groin that may sag into the inner thigh
  • Iinner, outer or posterior thigh, or circumferentially

Male Chin Augmentation

A weak or undeveloped chin in a male can make the nose appear larger and the neck ill-defined. With just a few millimeters of augmentation to the chin, the entire profile of the male face can be improved.

You may want to consider a chin augmentation procedure if you have the following concerns:
  • Dissatisfaction with your facial profile due to a small chin
  • Dissatisfaction with your facial profile due to a poorly defined chin

Male Eyelid Surgery

Your eyes are the most intriguing and revealing facial feature. They are also one of the most visible parts of your body to show signs of aging. Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both. The result is a more alert and rested appearance; and confidence in both personal relationships as well as in the work place.

You may be a candidate for eyelid surgery if you have some of the following conditions:
  • Eyelid puffiness and dark circles under the eyes
  • Bags under the eyes
  • Drooping upper lids
  • A fatigued or sad appearance
  • Impairment in your vision due to excess upper eyelid skin
  • An angry or worried look

Male Brow Lift Surgery

A brow lift minimizes the creases that develop across the forehead, or those that occur high on the bridge of the nose. It improves what are commonly referred to as frown lines; and repositions a low or sagging brow. Many times a brow lift is combined with eyelid surgery, a facelift to address changes in the mid to lower face and neck, Botox, fillers or skin resurfacing.

Male Neck Lift

The concept of a neck lift in men is basically the same as in women, but the approach is tailored to highlight and sharpen the masculine angular structures of the jaw, neck, and chin. The appearance of fresh and sharp angular contours leads to a well-rested and relaxed appearance, and translates to the perception of a more youthful appearance.

You may consider a neck lift if you have any of the following concerns:
  • Turkey gobbler neck k
  • Excess fat (double chin)
  • Loose skin
  • Presence of vertical muscle bands

Male Otoplasty

Ear surgery, also known as otoplasty, can improve the shape, position or proportion of the ear. It can correct a defect in the ear structure that is present at birth, that becomes apparent with development or it can treat misshapen ears caused by injury. Ear surgery creates a natural shape, while bringing balance and proportion to the ears and face. Correction of even minor deformities can have profound benefits to appearance and self-esteem and confidence in both personal relationships as well as in the work place.

Surgery can address the following issues:
  • Correcting protruding or large ears
  • Lop ear-tip seems to fold down and forward
  • Cupped ear - usually a very small ear
  • Shell ear-curve in the outer rim, or natural folds, are missing
  • Large or stretched earlobes
  • Lobes with large creases or wrinkles
