Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a skin-freshening technique that helps repair facial skin that takes a beating from the sun and the effects of aging. Microdermabrasion is an effective, non-surgical method to lessen acne scars, fine lines and sunspots by exfoliating the top layers of the skin with either crystal or a diamond tip wand, leaving your skin smoother and radiant.

Medical Microdermabrasion

Medical microdermabrasion is the combination of a microdermabrasion followed by a chemical peel chosen specifically for your skin type and needs. This treatment leaves the skin exfoliated with a natural glow.

Crystal-Free Microdermabrasion with Facial

This 90 minute treatment combines a diamond tip microdermabrasion with a customized facial for a healthy, vibrant and refreshed appearance. This treatment is perfect before a special event or vacation.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments needed depends on the result each patient desires. Usually 6 microdermabrasion treatments, scheduled two to four weeks apart will meet client's expectations. After the recommended number of sessions, you may want to schedule a treatment every two to three months, for maintenance.

What should I expect after treatment?

You will have sunscreen applied after you treatment, to avoid sun damage. Some redness might occur on treated areas, but they generally disappear after a few hours. During the first 24 hours, your skin may feel dry. Continue the use of your home skin care regimen except Retin A, Renova, Differin, Retinol or AHA's. Please continue to wear sunscreen on the treated areas everyday during the treatments.

What should I know about pre and post-treatment instructions?

We will provide you with very detailed pre and post-treatment information. Please be aware if you are using a topical vitamin A (Retin A, Tretinoin, Renova, Retinol, etc) you will need to stop this product 7 days prior to microdermabrasion.
