>BBL Redness Removal
BBL ® broadband light technology utilizes the power of pulsed light to deliver excellent phototherapy results. By selecting the appropriate wavelength, we will be able to treat most skin conditions caused by reddening in the skin including treatment of flushing, redness, broken capillaries and rosacea. The light energy delivered by the BBL will gently heat the upper layers of your skin. The photothermal energy will target and eliminate many of the fine vessels that cause redness. Your treatment will be tailored to match your skin's condition and your desired result. Your skin will be smoother, more vibrant and it will have a more youthful appearance as a result. During BBL ® redness removal, a cold gel is applied to the treatment area. An anesthetic cream may be applied also to the treatment area, but is usually not necessary. The specially designed BBL ® hand piece is gently pressed to your skin in order to administer controlled pulses of light. Some patients mention a slight stinging during treatment, comparing the sensation to that of a rubber band snap
How many treatments will I need?
From 2-5 treatments at 3 weeks intervals will produce the desired results.
What should I expect after treatment?
You may experience some redness that should resolve within a few hours. Your treated skin will feel smoother and pores will be less noticeable. Results depend on your condition, the number of treatments and the area treated.
