Waxing
Waxing is a method of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root. New hairs will not grow back for two to six weeks. Almost any areas of the body may be waxed, including eyebrows, face, bikini area, legs, arms, back and abdomen. If waxing is done regularly for many years, permanent hair reduction may happen. Hair must be at least ¼ inches long. All products such as AHA, Retin-A, Renova and Accutane, as well as tanning bed use or direct sun exposure must be divulged to the esthetician before treatment to ensure utmost safety.
Waxing is accomplished by spreading a soft or hard wax over the skin. For soft wax a cloth strip is pressed on the wax and ripped off with a quick movement. This process removes the wax along with the hair. Hard wax is spread thickly over the skin. Once the wax has cooled, the wax is pulled directly off the skin without the use of cloth strips.
How many treatments will I need?
