Injectable fillers have been extensively used and are safe for filling in deep wrinkles, and augmenting facial areas that have experienced soft tissue loss or descent with aging. There are a variety of fillers that our physicians use and they will make treatment recommendations based on individual needs and desired results.
EVOLENCE ®
EVOLENCE ® is an all-natural dermal filler that replaces the collagen you've lost over time with a natural collagen that lasts. It is indicated for the correction of moderate-to-deep facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. EVOLENCE ® should be injected into the mid-to-deep dermis.
What does it do?
EVOLENCE ® immediately improves your appearance by smoothing out wrinkles and folds and restoring structure in areas that are depleted of collagen.
What sets EVOLENCE ® apart?
Unlike other dermal fillers, which are based on hyaluronic acid, EVOLENCE ® is a breakthrough treatment made from natural collagen, the most abundant protein in the body.
Why is collagen important?
Beautiful, smooth, youthful-looking skin is directly tied to collagen. Collagen actually makes up almost 80% of our skin and is responsible for its basic structure, strength and volume. Over time, collagen in the skin naturally breaks down and this is what leads to the formation of wrinkles, lines and folds.

JUVÉDERM ®
JUVEDERM injectable gel is a smooth gel filler your doctor places under your skin to instantly smooth out wrinkles or folds around the sides of your nose and mouth. JUVEDERM can also be used for forehead lines, crow's feet, acne scars, vertical lip lines and lip plumping. JUVEDERM comes in two forms: JUVEDERM Ultra, made for versatility in contouring and volumizing wrinkles and folds, or JUVEDERM Ultra Plus, a stronger formulation for volumizing and correcting deeper wrinkles and folds.
Before Juvederm Injectable Gel - and 6 Months After
JUVEDERM is hyaluronic acid (HA) based. HA is a natural complex sugar found in all living cells and one of the major components of the dermis connective tissue matrix, along with collagen and elastin.
What happens during treatment with JUVEDERM?
Your doctor will assess your facial wrinkles and folds and determine if treatment with JUVEDERM injectable gel is appropriate for you. If you are a candidate for JUVADERM you will be placed in a chair while your doctor injects JUVEDERM. There can be some mild discomfort during any wrinkle correction, and you can discuss with your doctor if you would like pain management during your treatment.
How long does treatment take with JUVEDERM?
An injectable filler procedure can take 45 minutes to an hour for your consultation and treatment and is done as an in-office procedure.
How long does JUVEDERM last?
JUVEDERM can last up to 6 months or longer. Repeat injections are usually needed to maintain your new look.
RADIESSE ®
Radiesse is an injectable filler composed of calcium hydroxyappepetite. The procedure is similar to JUVADERM and results can last up to 6 months or longer. Radiesse is used to fill in deep wrinkles and can augment the cheek area. It is also used for nipple reconstruction in cases of breast cancer.
