Evaluation

To make your otoplasty consult a success, plan on discussing the following information with your doctor:

  • List of previous surgeries
  • Past and present medical conditions
  • Current medication(s)

As part of the otoplasty consult the ears will be evaluated, measured, and photographed for medical records. Options and a recommended course of treatment along with the outcome and risks will also be discussed. Personal desires are key in the decision making process.
