Late Recovery

Some patients experience a tight sensation around the neck for up to several months following surgery. You should not have any difficulty swallowing or breathing. You will have swelling post operatively for up to 12 weeks that may mask your final result. You may resume exercise at 2 weeks.

You will return to our office for follow-up care at designated intervals to evaluate your progress.
