Your forehead may be taped or your head may be loosely wrapped to minimize swelling and bruising following your brow lift. This may be removed one to two days after your surgery during your first post op visit. Any sutures you have will dissolve on their own or be removed by your doctor. You may have drains to help remove excess fluid or blood and instructions for drains will be given post-operatively.
Makeup may be worn to conceal discoloration two days after your sutures are all removed. You may return to light activity at the discretion of you doctor.
During the first week you should rest with your head elevated to help minimize bruising and swelling. Swelling will reach its peak during this time and begin to subside. You should avoid stooping or lifting.
