Arm lift surgery is an out patient procedure performed under a general anesthetic and generally takes two hours to perform. Incision patterns vary based on the amount and location of excess skin and patient and surgeon preference.
Incisions are generally placed on the inside of the arm or on the back of the arm and may extend from the underarm to the elbow. Liposuction will be used if fat is to removed as well. Underlying tissue is tightened and reshaped after incisions are made and held in place with internal sutures. Finally the skin is smoothed over the new contour of your arms.
